The current economic crisis in our country has made life difficult for all of us. The medical sector is particularly facing a difficult time due to shortages of medical supplies. Discovering the massive shortage of blood in the Kandy General Hospital, the Interact Club of Trinity College Kandy decided to organize a Blood Donation camp to resolve this matter. Project Life-Line was organized with the support of the Royal College Red Cross Society, the Rotaract Club of Kandy Metropolitan, and the Rotary Club of Kandy.
Project Life-Line, the blood donation camp was held on the 23rd of September at the Trinity College Main Hall. With the support of the Blood Bank of National Hospital, Kandy and 118 kind donors, this event was successfully concluded.
We would once again like to thank the donors who took time out of their busy schedules to support this charitable cause by donating their precious blood.
