We are delighted that Dr Chandra B. Dissanayake, distinguished Old Boy of Trinity, is ranked among 15 researchers from Sri Lanka who are included in a list of the top 2% of researchers worldwide as compiled by Stanford University, USA. The full list was published in the journal PLOS Biology: https://journals.plos.org/plosbiology/article?id=10.1371/journal.pbio.3000918 As researcher from the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka, Dr Dissanayake, with 135 papers, was ranked at 937 among 66925 authors in his field of Environmental Sciences.
The Annual AGM of the Nuwara Eliya Branch of the TCK OBA took place on Monday 11th November at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Following the successful Meeting, a very enjoyable evening of fellowship took place on the terrace. This was much enjoyed by the OBA Branch members and by the Senior Staff of TCK who had been invited (The Principal, VP, COVP, Chaplain, POG and Headmaster of the Middle School).
