The Kindergarten lays the foundation for the rest of a students school
career and plays a vital role in his all round development.
The Kindergarten consists of grades 1 and 2 students of the Junior
school. However, it functions independently of the Junior school, with
its own sports and other events.
Grade 1 has 4 Sinhala medium classes and 1 Tamil medium class, while
Grade 2 has 5 Sinhala medium and one Tamil medium class. Each class has
two teachers to give individual attention to all the students.
Starting from 2017, Mathematics will be taught in English in all Grade 1
classes.
