Congratulations to Master Sanchitha Wickrama for Academic Excellence at the Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level Examination Alongside his academic success, Master Sanchitha demonstrated leadership and all-round involvement serving as Captain of the Trinity College Debating Society (2025) , President of the Trinity College Model United Nations Club (2024). He also actively contributed as a member of the Drama Society (2023) and represented the College in Basketball . #KnowYourHistory On 19 March 1915, Trinity College, Kandy, marked a significant moment in its sporting history with the inaugural awarding of the College Lion, the highest honour in sports at Trinity. Among the first recipients were sportsmen such as R. Ondatje, Richard Aluwihare, W. P. Beligammana, H. C. Inman, and M. P. Kallora, who had demonstrated both skill and commitment. Champions of the Inaugural Mayor’s Cup 🏆 The Under-19 Basketball Team of Trinity College Kandy rises to glory, clinching the title at the first-ever annual Mayor’s Cup organised by the Kandy Municipal Council.
