ICEBREAKER '22

An Intra-School Public Speaking Competition that allows students to engage in effective communication while also learning competitive skills.

The Gavel Club of Trinity College, Kandy is excited to present Icebreaker ‘22, our first Intra-school public speaking competition.

Registrations will open on the 11th of February, and run until the 17th under three categories;

Junior 1- Grades 6, 7 and 8

Junior 2- Grades 9, 10 and 11 (2022 December OLs)

Senior- Grades 12 (2022 May OLs), 13 and 14

Tech Briefing and Guidelines General Recording Instructions

A video recording of your speech can be submitted during registration which will be evaluated by our judges in the preliminary round and then speakers from each category will move onto the final round which will be held live online and be open to the public later.

Icebreaker ‘22 will be an open environment to develop your confidence and public speaking, and the organising committee hopes to see you all in registrations!
