Saraswathi Pooja is an annual event celebrated by Hindus, across the world, during the month of September to implore the blessings of courage, wealth, and wisdom from the goddesses Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswathi. Especially, the Hindu students venerate the goddess Saraswathi to excel in knowledge and wisdom. 

Saraswathi Pooja, also known as 'Vaani Vizha' is an annual event that has been celebrated for over 50 years by the Hindu Students' Movement of Trinity College, Kandy. The year 2021 marks the first ever virtual celebration of the event due to the prevalent pandemic situation.

Hindu Students from Grades 6 to 13 and their parents are cordially invited to participate in the first ever virtual 'Vaani Vizha' on 14 October 2021 at 4 p.m.
We also warmly invite our academic staff to join this sacred event.
