Dribble ‘22, A FIBA Registered and SLFBA approved 3×3 basketball tournament was organized by the Interact Clubs of Hillwood College and Trinity College Kandy. The tournament which was held on the 14th of August saw the participation of 32 teams from across the country competing under 4 categories:
- Open Men’s
- U-20 Men’s
- Open Women’s
- U-20 Women’s
This event which was the first major basketball tournament to be held at the newly refurbished Trinity College Basketball Court was energized by the large crowds who joined in to support their respective teams. The spectators were welcomed by a plethora of food and beverage stalls and tantalizing basketball action.
After a day filled with exciting basketball the following teams emerged champions in their respective categories:
- Open Men’s – The Hoop Group
- U-20 Men’s – Team White’s (St. Joseph’s College)
- Open Women’s – Triple C (Mahamaya College)
- U-20 Women’s – V.A.K (Mahamaya College)
