Academic achievement has always been a valued part of life at Trinity College, Kandy. On Monday, 18 August 2025, the College gathered to honour a group of students who excelled at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination 2024/2025 by securing 9 ‘A’ passes.
A special felicitation ceremony was held to recognise their dedication, hard work, and commitment to learning, qualities that continue to inspire the entire Trinity community.

The felicitation was held at the College Main Hall during the morning assembly and was attended by the students’ parents, the Principal, the Vice Principal, the Co-Vice Principal, the Chaplain, and members of the academic staff.
The ceremony was marked by a spirit of pride and inspiration. Each token of appreciation was not only a symbol of achievement but also a reflection of many hours of study, perseverance through challenges, and a strong love for learning.
Gratitude was expressed to the parents and to the teachers of Grades 10 and 11, as well as to all other teachers from Grade 1 onwards, whose guidance and support formed the foundation for these accomplishments.
The felicitation stood as a reminder that success is not only an individual accomplishment, but also a shared celebration of the dedication of parents, fellow students, teachers, and the wider College community.
As these young Trinitians continue their studies and prepare to take their place in the world beyond College, Trinity extends its best wishes for their future. May the values of discipline, humility, and determination that brought them this success continue to guide them in all their endeavours.
