The Trinity College Weightlifting took part in their last meet for the year, the “Junior and Senior National Weightlifting Championship 2022” at the Galewala Sports Complex, Polonnaruwa from 11th – 14th November 2022.

Chamod Dehigama – 89kg
Sherwain Wavita – 96kg

Missaka Wickramasekara – 109kg+
3rd Place

Sadil Angammana – 102kg
Under 20
Yahadasun Ratnayake – 109kg+
The team had previously bagged 4 championships in the sesquicentennial year of college and were on a mission to complete their trophy cabinet. The team emerged Runners-up at the meet, completing a successful 2022 season.
