We are delighted to announce that Trinity College Kandy, successfully completed the acquisition of the Kelvin Grove [property of the late Mr. Aldo Perera along the Chapel Drive], marking a significant milestone in Trinity’s post-T150 journey. This new facility will house our International Qualification section thereby expanding our capacity to continue delivering a qualitative all-round education to our students.
This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication and support of numerous individuals. We would like to express our profound gratitude to the Chairman – his lordship the Bishop of Kurunagala together with the Board of Governors for their strategic vision and leadership throughout this acquisition process.
Special appreciation also goes out to Mrs. Bryony Rodrigo & her extended family, whose cooperation and understanding throughout all negotiations demonstrated their genuine interest in ultimately bestowing this asset to Trinity College Kandy.

We also acknowledge the tireless efforts of our Legal advisors, Financial consultants and our Administrative team in house, who worked diligently to ensure the final process was transacted swiftly and smoothly. Their expertise and attention to detail were invaluable in navigating the complexities of this acquisition. Kelvin Grove represents more than just a physical expansion of the Trinity Campus; it symbolizes our commitment to providing diverse educational pathways for our students in the future.
We look forward to working with the Kelvin Grove Renovation Project Advisory & Oversight Committee to create an inspiring learning environment that will benefit generations of Trinitians to come. Thank you all for your continued support.
