We are pleased to announce the appointment of the following students who will take leadership of the Table Tennis Team for the year 2022.
Captain – Master Aqib Rumaiz
Vice Captain – Master Chathwara Weerasinghe
Aqib Rumaiz
Aqib Rumaiz started Table Tennis when he was in Grade 5 under the guidance of Mr. D.M.G.S. Kumara.
He featured several times in the team where Trinity won the annual Trinity-Thomian Table Tennis encounter. Aqib headed the under 14 team where Trinity won 3rd place in the All Island Inter-Schools tournament.
He was awarded as the TCK Table Tennis player of the year – Junior in 2018. He represented college in All Island Inter-School Table Tennis Tournaments and has received three star performances.
Chathwara Weerasinghe
Chathwara Weerasinghe started Table Tennis when he was in Grade 6 under the guidance of Mr. D.M.G.S. Kumara.
He became runners-up at the Central Province semi government schools championship.
Chathwara has represented College in several All Island Table Tennis Tournaments, where he has excelled.
