We are pleased to announce the appointment of Warrant Officer II A. A. S. R. Ratnayake as Company Sergeant Major of the National Cadet Corps (Western Band). This appointment marks an important milestone in the College’s cadetting history.
Having served as a Sergeant in 2025, Warrant Officer II Ratnayake played a key role in the College’s cadet band, helping the team secure sixth place at All-Island level.
His appointment as Company Sergeant Major, representing Trinity College, Kandy, is a notable development for the College’s cadetting programme, being the first such appointment from the College in many years. His commitment to training and leadership has contributed to the preparation and development of the cadets under his guidance.
This achievement reflects Warrant Officer II Ratnayake’s dedication and the College’s continued commitment to nurturing discipline, responsibility and leadership among its cadets.
