Applications are invited from students wishing to study London A Levels (Edexcel syllabus) at Trinity College. The course will start in February 2019 for those moving from Local O Levels (or who have already completed their IGCSEs). Although primarily for current Trinity students, a few places are available for boys and girls currently studying at other schools, both Local and International. Those studying IGCSEs in International Schools would join Trinity in September.
London A Levels are an increasingly popular option in Sri Lanka as they prepare students for a wide range of Higher Education opportunities in this country and overseas. The Applied rather than Theoretical nature of the Courses also teaches students to communicate effectively and think for themselves both critically and creatively – vital qualities in today’s rapidly changing job market. With London A Levels, students are also not tied into studying subjects within a particular “stream” – they can choose those subjects which they enjoy most and are best at.
Trinity offers a range of subjects at London A Level, including:
Mathematics (and Further Mathematics), Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, IT and Psychology.
