Applications are invited from boys currently being educated at schools following both the Local and International curricula who wish to join Trinity College in Grade 4, Grade 6 or Grade 7 in January 2021.
Places offered will be primarily in the English Medium. Please note that applicants whose Mother Tongue is either Sinhala or Tamil are accommodated in the English Medium classes.
The Trinity College Boarding begins at Grade 4, and places are available at Grades 4, 6 and 7. Applicants from other districts who are selected will be offered a place in the Boarding as well.
Please ensure that the dates of births of the applicants are within the ranges given in the table below when applying for the respective Grades.

The online application form will be available from Tuesday, the 14th of July, and completed applications must be submitted online by 3.00pm on Thursday the 23rd of July, 2020. We regret that no applications will be accepted after this date.
All applicants will be required to sit the Trinity College Entrance Examination. This will be held at Trinity on Saturday, the 01st of August. The time and venue will be notified later by email. The examination will cover English, the Mother Tongue, and Mathematics.
Selected applicants will be called for interviews following the examination.
Canvassing & recommendations in any form are strictly prohibited. Any such attempt will result in the application being rejected. Under no circumstances should money or any other consideration be given to anyone claiming to be able to help get your son into Trinity.
