Trinity College Kandy is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced person as Manager of the College Farm situated at Balagolla.
Duties: The ideal candidate will be involved in general administration, supervision of vegetable, fruit and other crop cultivation, livestock management and animal husbandry. His skills should contribute towards the Farm running at a profit whilst providing students of Trinity College an opportunity to get practical insight and experience in farming and farming techniques.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Ability to manage workers and general resources of the Farm to maintain a high level of productivity
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from a recognized University
OR
a Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized Institution
• 10 years’ experience in Livestock and Crop management.
Fluency in English will be a distinct advantage.
Remuneration will be in line with current market conditions.
