We are delighted to announce that the Trinity Under-18 Basketball team emerged joint champions with Gateway College Kandy at the Under 18 Schools Central Zonal, held at the Maliyadeva College from 14th, 15th and 16th of October 2022. Trinity emerged joint Champions as the final match was called off due to inclement weather.
Trinity Basketball team has been on a dominating run during the tournament winning all their matches with a big margin. The results as follows:
- Trinity defeated Al Azhar Central College, Thihariya with a score of 47 – 15
- Trinity defeated Kingswood College, Kandy with a score of 37 – 17
- Trinity defeated Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala with a score of 66 – 18
- Trinity defeated St. Anne’s College, Kurunegala in the semi final with a score of 53 – 22
