Trinitians Awarded Colours at Sri Lanka Schools Shooting Sports Association’s Colours Awarding Ceremony 2022

The Sri Lanka Schools Shooting Sports Association (SLSSSA) recently held its highly anticipated colours awarding ceremony for the year 2022. The prestigious event took place on the 7th of July at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) and showcased the outstanding achievements of young shooting sports enthusiasts from various schools across the country.

Among the standout performers of the evening were five talented Trinitians who were recognised for their remarkable skills in the Air pistol category. The SLSSSA bestowed them with the coveted colours, symbolizing their excellence in the sport.

The following Trinitians were honoured with colours for their outstanding performance in the Air pistol category:

  • A.B. Jayasundara
  • Tharana Wimaladharma
  • R.A. Jayarathna
  • Akmal Fareekdeen
  • Senul D. Kasthuriarachchi (not in the photograph)

We congratulate these exceptional Trinitians on their well-deserved recognition. The colours award serves as a testament to their commitment and serves as a motivation for their future endeavors in shooting sports.
