We are pleased to announce an exclusive creative workshop, “Beyond the Artboard”, to be conducted by Mr. Kelum Gamage – an Old Trinitian and accomplished Senior Creative Designer with over five years of professional experience both locally and internationally.
This workshop will take place on Monday, May 26th, from 3.00 p.m. onwards at the Napier Hall. The event is open to all students from Grade 6 and above.
Mr. Gamage holds a BA (Hons) in Multimedia (UK), a Pearson HND in Advertising, and a Diploma in Graphic Design, along with qualifications from CIM (UK) in Marketing. A former Senior School Officer and the Charter President of the Trinity Design Club (Batch of 2017), he returns to his alma mater to deliver a one-of-a-kind creative session designed to inspire and empower the next generation of creative students from Trinity.
Beyond the Artboard is more than just a workshop—it marks the first chapter of a larger creative movement aimed at teaching, leading, and inspiring the next generation of thinkers and storytellers across Sri Lanka and beyond. Rooted in a foundation of bold thinking, emotional intelligence, creative bravery, and genuine human connection, the workshop encourages young participants to explore their individuality, embrace creative risk, and communicate with purpose in an ever-evolving world.
The workshop will focus on:
- Visual storytelling and design thinking
- Self-discovery through creativity
- Student mental health and wellbeing
- Real-life challenges and future-readiness
Students are kindly requested to register online in advance to reserve their place.
This workshop is hosted in collaboration with the Centre for Excellence at Trinity College Kandy as part of its continued commitment to holistic student development.
