Trinity College Kandy is proud to introduce The Law Circle — a new extracurricular initiative that invites students to explore the fundamentals of law, justice, and civic awareness in an accessible and engaging way.
In today’s society, legal knowledge isn’t just for lawyers — it’s a vital life skill. From understanding your rights and responsibilities to interpreting real-world issues through a legal lens, The Law Circle equips students with the tools to think critically, act ethically, and become informed citizens.
What you’ll experience as a member:
- Practical legal knowledge for everyday life
- Awareness of your rights and duties as a citizen
- Guidance from legal professionals and guest speakers
- Moot court sessions that simulate real courtroom scenarios
- Legal case documentary screenings and discussion forums
- Debates and opinion circles on current legal issues
- Workshops on leadership, ethics, and decision-making
This is not just another club — it’s a space to grow, question, and understand the role of law in shaping society. No prior knowledge is required — only curiosity, interest, and willingness to participate.
Students from Grade 8 and above are encouraged to register now:
Aligned with Trinity’s core values of Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Resilience (ISER), The Law Circle aims to nurture the next generation of thoughtful leaders and socially aware citizens. Through engaging discussions, simplified case studies, mock debates, and interactive learning experiences, members will gain a practical foundation in how the law works — and why it matters.
Whether you’re considering a future in law, leadership, public service, or simply want to strengthen your understanding of justice and fairness, The Law Circle offers a space to grow, question, and connect.
Let your journey into the legal world begin — with The Law Circle.
