The much-anticipated Annual Hockey Big Match between Trinity College, Kandy and Royal College, Colombo took place on 28th September 2025 at the Astro Turf, Colombo.
In the U20 encounter, Trinity delivered a composed and focused performance, edging past Royal College with a 1–0 win. The narrow victory ensured Trinity secured the J.C.A. Corea Challenge Cup, a significant fixture in the College’s annual sporting calendar.
The match was a tightly contested affair, with both sides displaying commendable skill and sportsmanship. Trinity’s goal, which came after steady pressure, showed the team’s strong teamwork and discipline on the field.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the players for their commitment, resilience, and teamwork. Their hard work during training and focus on the day were key to this achievement.
