Trinity College, Kandy’s U17 Basketball team finished as the 2nd Runners Up at the 2026 Sri Lankan Schools Basketball Tournament, organised by the Sri Lanka Basketball Association (SLBA) at Olympus, Malabe, from 11 to 16 August 2026.
The team played seven matches during the tournament, securing four wins. They recorded victories over Amal International College, Royal College and Prince of Wales College, including a strong performance in the Consolation Final.

The boys finished the tournament strongly with a convincing victory in the Consolation Final. Their performances across the seven matches earned the Trinity College U17 Basketball team the 2nd Runners Up position at the 2026 tournament.
