Trinity’s 1st XV rugby captain, Reshan Bandaranayake was awarded a Lion by the Principal Mr Andrew Fowler-Watt on 27th September 2019 following the win at the U20 7s tournament where Trinity College emerged champions after 42 years.
Reshan has carried out the captaincy of the team with good leadership and he continues to be a leader of great calibre proving his sportsmanship on and off the field.
He was also awarded Colours previously along with 8 other members of the 1st XV team.
