Few members of the Middle School Photography society visited the picturesque hills of Bellwood, Kandy on the 22nd of February.
The expedition was arranged by the society’s supervisor, Mr Chethaka Athukorala in order to do a study of outdoor and nature photography and teach the boys the basics of using a DSLR camera.
Moving away from workshops which often take place inside venues, this outdoor expedition was filled with fun and excitement and the boys enjoyed themselves and learnt a lot.
Being a brand new society in Middle School with modern ideas about photography, the society hopes to encourage and motivate more boys into following their passion in “being best at what they do”.
Those who wish to join the Middle School Photography Society, can attend the weekly meetings held every Friday, 12.30pm at the College Hall.
