The Interact Club held its annual Medical Camp for the past and present staff of Trinity College on May 08, 2022, at the College Main Hall. The event took place after a hiatus of two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The event which was done in collaboration with the Trinity Doctors’ Association saw the participation of almost 200 past and present members of staff along with their families. Physicians, Urologists, Cardiologists, Respiratory Physicians, Orthopedic surgeons, Psychiatrists were just a few among the 45 Doctors who attended the medical camp to assist the staff and their families with all medical needs. 5 professionals from Samarasinghe Opticals attended the camp as well.
Participants in this year’s medical camp were viable to obtain various drugs free of charge from the pop-up pharmacy. Another notable benefit given to the participants was a 25% discount voucher from Durdans Laboratories for any test.
The success of this year’s medical camp was hugely due to the active participation of the Trinity Doctors’ Association. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors and medical personnel who actively volunteered for the event.
