This week we are delighted to bring you beautiful captures featuring hand shadows of different animals created by the Grade 1 students. Student’s environment related activity lesson for the topic “එළිය [ආලෝකය] සමඟ සෙල්ලම්”.
Kindergarten students were encouraged to share images of their hand shadow animals for their friends to appreciate. Different types of hand shadow animal photos was submitted by Grade 1 students which included captures such as – dog, butterfly, fish, deer, snake, owl, crab, birds, bat and many more.
After completing this week’s activity, it was enjoyable to hear them talk continuously about their hand shadow animals.
“Making hand shadow is a lot of fun and I love it. Can make my brother laugh” – Grade 1 student
“They look like real animals. Butterfly can be made easily” – Grade 1 student
