The Middle School Science Exhibition which was held on the 13th and 14th of October 2022 paved the way for the young scientists of Grade 6,7,8 and 9 to showcase their eye-catching exhibits. These marvelous projects and exhibits were viewed by the Principal Rev. Fr. Araliya Jayasundara OSB along with the Co- Vice Principal, Mr. Marasinghe and the Head-mistress, Mrs. Krishni George.
Among as many as 50 inventive and creative projects, the obstacle sensing cars, remote control cars and planes, models of wind power stations, hydro power stations, solar stations, the laser burglar alarm and the thermal solution stood out. A very interesting and educating demonstration and fun facts about cockroaches with live specimens also was a highlight of this event.
The enthusiasm and excitement shown by the students from Grade 6 to 9 when they were given a chance to visit the exhibition and educate themselves showed how successful this event was. We thank all the students who worked really hard to make this event a success and the Middle School Science Faculty which organized this event under the guidance of Faculty head of Science Mrs. Nimesha Wimalasena.
