An Art Exhibition was organised to showcase the artwork of Junior School Students on 18th, and 19th November 2022. The exhibition took place at the Junior School Hall. The venue was filled with eye-catching and picturesque drawings done by the young Trinity artists.
The exhibition aimed to encourage creativity, displaying students’ ability to create masterpieces while helping them to develop and experiment many life skills.
The event showcased more than 430 drawings by students from Grade 1 to 5, with crayon drawings from Grade 1 and 2, water color paintings and mixed media from Grade 3, 4 and 5, and sketches done by students in grade 5.
An interesting display of group work crafted by the Art Circle students grabbed the attention of many visitors. The group work displayed many artwork that were done using various waste materials.
Special mentions must be made of the Co-Vice Principal, Mr Ananda Marasinghe, the teachers in charge of Art in Junior School Mrs. C.I Jayasinghe and Mrs. K.S Iddamalgoda for organising this colourful exhibition.
