We are excited to share the remarkable achievements of our athletes at the recent Provincial Athletics Meet, where Trinity College won the Overall Championship with a total of 226 points. Our teams secured championship titles in the following categories:
- Under 14: Champions
- Under 16: Champions
- Under 18: Champions
Additionally, Master U.G.K. Uyanwatte was named the Best Athlete of the Meet for his outstanding performance in the 400m event. The Trinity team also earned the title of 1st Runners-up in the Relay Championship.
Our sincere appreciation and gratitude go to all the young Trinity athletes who participated in this event and brought glory to their alma mater. We also recognize and appreciate the dedicated efforts and commitment of the coaching staff: Mr. Nilco Bandara (Head Coach), Mr. Amarakoon, Mr. Lalith Ratnayaka, Mr. Viraj Hangarapitiya (Physio), our MICs, Mr. Ayesh Kalugampitiya and Mrs. Nethmi Kumaraweera, and the Athletics Foundation.
