Future Founders 2025, hosted by APIIT Kandy, held its grand finale on March 22, 2025, at Earl’s Regent Hotel. With sustainability as its core theme, the competition pushed young minds to craft business ideas that were not only innovative but also impactful.
The journey began with an insightful workshop by APIIT Kandy, giving participants a crash course in entrepreneurship and business models. This wasn’t just another lecture—it was a game-changer, equipping teams with the tools to refine and elevate their ideas.
Trinity College Kandy made a strong presence in the competition, with two teams stepping up to the challenge. One team Rehan Anandakumar, Chaniru Senhas, Nimuthu Pathiraja, and Wosanda Malaviarachchi stood out by winning the Most Sustainable Idea and Most Popular Idea awards, proving that sustainability and business are intertwined. The other Trinity team, consisting of Naidh Naseem, Shahrukh Fairooz, Disalana Jayasooriya, and Reshan Odyar, also delivered a strong performance, demonstrating creativity throughout the competition.
Future Founders 2025 was more than a competition it was a launchpad for the next generation of entrepreneurs, and Trinity’s teams made sure their mark was felt.
