Junior School Science Society Weekend Programme - Experiments with electric circuits

The Science Society of the Junior School has organized a workshop “Experiments with electric circuits” for grade 5 students on 26th of January 2019 from 8.45 a.m. to 12 noon in the Junior School Hall.

The event will be conducted by the Teacher- in- charge of Science Society under the supervision and guidance of the Co-Vice Principal Mr. A.S. Marasinghe.

The presenter will be Mr. Subash Dhanasekara , who is teaching Motor Mechanism for Upper School students. He gladly agreed to conduct the workshop for the boys of the Junior School Science Society.

It will be a programme with two sessions, there will be a brief introduction about basic concepts at the beginning and the students will be able to follow instructions and build circuits by their own at the end of the 1st session. The second session will be a group activity based on a given topic.

Students will be awarded certificates for participation.

We hope the students will respond positively to the workshop and enjoy all the activities. It would be a great opportunity for them to participate in the forthcoming events of the Science Society.
