The U14 and U16 Football teams from Trinity paid a friendly visit to the ‘Differently Abled Girls’ Organization’ in Anuradhapura on their way to play against St. John’s College, Jaffna, on 23rd October 2018.
The purpose of this visit was to donate a few cosmetic items to the girls which were sponsored by the Trinity College Social Service Union. This was also an opportunity for the Trinity Football players (U14/U16) to socialize and to get engaged in charity work. The boys were accompanied by the Football MICs and the Vice Principal, Mr J.D. Wilson.
While this was a continuation of programmes from the Social Service Union, it was also a very ‘touching moment’ for those present at this occasion to see the girls happy and delighted to be gifted with such donations.
