The Junior School Oriental Music Society of Trinity College Kandy participated in the Provincial level competitions of the All Island Music and Drama Competitions 2019, on 6th of July at Swarnamali Girls’ College Kandy. The competition was organized by the Ministry of Education.
12 of our boys from the Junior School competed under the school category 1AB and performed in the following two segments: Oriental Orchestra and Instrumental. The set song being ‘Me honda lassana bonnikka’.
Trinity College was placed 1st in these segments and qualified to participate at the All Island Competitions which will be in the later part of the year.
