Trinity College announces with great sadness the passing away of one of her loyal and illustrious sons, Dr Robert Grant Sourjah. He passed away today (October 1st, 2020) in Sydney Australia at the age of 95.
He was a Rugger Lion, and had the distinction of being the Captain of Trinity’s Rugby Football team in 1945, the first year the College played Royal College for the Bradby Shield.
He was a Consultant Physician by profession. He leaves behind his wife Inez and 2 sons Rohan and Lalin. Incidentally, Rohan captained the Trinity Rugger XV in 1975 and is a Rugger Lion while Lalin, a superb Ruggerite himself is an Athletics Lion and Captained the Athletics team in 1979.
The Trinity Family extends heartfelt sympathies to Mrs Sourjah, Rohan and Lalin and their families.
