Trinity College Cadet Platoon emerged triumphant at the Central Province Defence Cadet Assessment Camp, securing 4th position among the 40 participating schools. The Camp was held at Rantembe from 8th – 12th July 2023, besides it was organised by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) of Sri Lanka.
After 27-years of exhibiting exceptional teamwork, discipline and resolve, the Platoon was chosen for the National Championship camp of the NCC – “Hermannloos De Soysa Challenge Trophy – 2023” which is not merely a competition: it is a testament to the highest standards of cadet excellence in Sri Lanka.
Master (Sgt.) D.M.K.G.B Dissanayake – the Sergeant, Mr. Gamini Adhikari – the Drill Instructor, Mr Waruna Samarasinghe – the Platoon Officer and Sampath Kumarasingha – the Master in Charge (MIC) for their leadership and guidance rendered throughout the events.
