We are pleased to announce that the Trinity Weightlifting team bagged its 4th Championship for the year and was recently crowned Champions at the ‘All-Island School Games 2022‘ organised by the Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka.
The Championship took place at the Royal College, Polonnaruwa premises from the 21st to 23rd of October 2022.
The team won the following shields:
- Under 17 All Island Championship
- Under 20 All Island Championship
- Overall Championship

Trinity emerged Champions with a total score of 26 points followed by Walagamba Maha Vidyalaya with a score of 14 points, Jaffna Hindu College with a score of 13 points, and Royal College, Colombo with a score of 8 points.
Trinity weightlifters also became Champions at the All Island Inter School Weightlifting Championship 2022 and Junior Novices Weightlifting Championship 2022 bagging a total of 4 shields this year.
