Trinity College launched its latest extension, the Trinity Eco Learning Arena [TELA] in Pallekele [former Trinity Tertiary Institute] when it hosted the Sri Lanka Girl Guide Association [SLGGA] National Camp held from the 10th to the 14th of February at the TELA enclosure. This unique lush-green 87-acre Trinity extension is a picturesque landscape bordering the Mahaweli river. At the SLGGA camp, TELA hosted over 100 members of the Girl Guide Association with the participation of 5 schools [Yashodhara College, Musaeus College, Vishaka College and Kaira Muslim Girls’ College] and 2 Companies [3rd Colombo -Premier own company from SLGGA HQ and 9th Colombo -Yashoda College].
The camp was held under the supervision of SLGGA Chief Commissioner- Ms. Sulari Jayawardane, Planning and Progress Review Commissioner- Ms. Wajira Silva, Western Province Commissioner- Ms. Jayani Suriyapperuma, Zonal Commissioner- Ms. Niluka Jayawardana, Rathnapura District Commissioner- Ms. Kulani Ayodya Bandara, Commissioner- Ms. Geeta Chandani Pothupitiya, Ranger- Shamini Ekanayake and other members of Staff.
