Safety First; Aims to Safeguard Young Trinitians

The success of the College Traffic Unit 

Since its inception, the Trinity College Traffic Control Unit has rendered an invaluable service towards the safety of both students and teachers. Whether it be creating a safe environment for students to carefully cross the road in the morning when entering school, or educating both students and teachers on safety regulations, the Traffic Control Unit makes a strong impact on life at College. 

Its increasing progress and growing base of enthusiastic students have contributed to its recent success. The Master-in-Charge, Mr. Kamal Rathnayake deserves to be thanked for his unwavering support towards all members of the unit, allowing for its successful activities. 

Furthermore, each committee member has played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of the club’s activities.

Looking into the Future… 

In order to improve the skills and enhance the knowledge of the current members, whilst encouraging more young Trinitians to take part, the Traffic Control Unit plans to conduct a workshop on “Traffic Unit Day” in collaboration with the Police Department, to educate students on traffic regulations and safety codes. 

These future initiatives will ensure the club’s further success and growth, and a safer environment for young Trinitians.
