The Interact Club of Trinity College, affiliated with the Rotary Club of Kandy, was chartered in 1978. Capt. Leonard De Alwis was in charge when the first inaugural meeting was held on the 7th of August 1978. The first project performed was uplifting sports facilities of Mahaweli Vidyalaya, Polgolla. Â
Being a nonprofit organization, the club continues to serve the society through the avenues of community service, club service, Finance, International Understanding and Green Life.
The club members are engaged in various annual projects, from donation drives to Awareness campaigns and many exciting events. Today, the club is being guided by Ms. Agra Ratnayake. The Interact Club wants its 130 members to become the agents of change! Â

We are a modern, forward-thinking school in Sri Lanka which embraces new opportunities within teaching and learning. Tradition remains important and still shapes some of our guiding principles, but it is a willingness to innovate which has seen the school thrive for decades.
