Join us in celebrating World Mental Health Day on October 10, 2024!

The Journal of the Animation Unit invites artists and writers to contribute open articles and drawings that explore mental health themes through the lens of animation.

Share your insights, experiences, or research related to mental health. You may use the topics we have given

Artwork & Drawings

We welcome illustrations that capture the essence of mental health, be it: storytelling, character design, or visual metaphors under the topics given.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

ARTICLES:

  • Use 500-1000 words, font – Times New Roman or Calibre.
  • We appreciate original work. Your submission should be creative, and relevant to animation and mental health.
  • Can be submitted as a PDF.
  • Please refer below for grade-wise topics.

DRAWINGS:

  • You may use any type of art paper and any medium (e.g.: water colours, pencils, chalk).
  • Submissions can be sent as a JPEG – High-resolution images (300 DPI). 
  • Include a description of your piece
  • Please refer below for grade-wise topics.

Deadline for Submissions: October 25, 2024.
