Wind power or wind energy is the use of wind to provide mechanical power through wind turbines to turn electric generators for electrical power. Wind power is a popular sustainable, renewable energy source that has a much smaller impact on the environment compared to burning fossil fuels.
We believe it is necessary for students in their young age to know facts about the science behind wind energy while enhancing their creativity and motor skills.

During the first week of August 2021, the Grade 2 students were engaged in producing crafts related to ‘wind power’.
The supplies for this crafts are simple and these can be used mostly for activities outside. It is very easy to put the requirements together in a short period of time. Students were able to do crafts that move, when powered by the wind.
