The college bade farewell to few of its senior members of the Academic Staff on 12th of December 2022 at a special assembly held in the College Main Hall. The event was attended by the Principal Rev. Fr Araliya Jayasundara OSB, the Vice Principal, Mr. Krishanthan Antonydas and the Co-Vice Principal, Mr. Ananda Marasinghe, along with the students and staff of both Middle and Upper School.
- Mr. Sivalingam Rajendrampillai joined Trinity in the year of 1985 and retired in 2022 ( 37 years of service).
- Mr. Aruna Navaratne joined Trinity in the year of 1985 and retired in 2022 (37 years of service).
- Mr. Sarath Heenagama joined Trinity in the year of 1987 and retired in 2022 (35 years of service).
- Mrs. Umanga Udalagama joined Trinity in the year of 1989 and retired in 2022 (33 years of service).
- Mr. Hemadila Palaniappan joined Trinity in the year of 2008 and retired in 2022 (14 years of service).
- Mr. Upali Premachandra joined Trinity in the years of 2009 and retired in 2022 (13 years of service).
- Mr. Randika Ambagala joined Trinity in the year of 2012 and retired in 2022 (10 years of service).
In addition to the above-mentioned senior members of staff who put in a decade or more years of service, we also bade farewell to two more individuals who made remarkable contributions despite their short stint at Trinity College.
- Mr. Walter Elapatha joined Trinity in the year of 2019 and retired in 2022 (3 years of service).
- Mr. Kavinda Jayaweera joined Trinity in the year of 2022 and left College in December 2022 (1 year of service).
We extend our utmost gratitude to all these teachers for their selfless service to College. The College wishes them all success in their future endeavours.
