Trinity Under 18 football team emerged group champions in the Sri lanka Schools’ Football Association Tournament held from 3rd to 4th of January 2023 at the Pallekele Rugby Stadium.
In their first group match the Trinity Under 20 football team secured a dominant victory with a score of 08 – 00 playing against Sri Sumangala College, Kandy.
Goal scorers at the Under 18 game were Master Mohammed Shan (2 goals), Master Viduneth Dhammage (2 goals) Master Yewan Hulangamuwa (1 goal), Master Akshee Mahadivulwewa (1 goal), Master Uvan Vithanage (1 goal) and Saihan Ibrahim (1 goal).
The second group match was against St. Anthony’s College, Kandy where the Trinity Under 18 football team won convincly with a score of 08 – 00.
Goal scorers at the Under 18 game were Master Viduneth Dhammage ( 3 goals), Master Mohammed Shan (3 goals) and Master Yevan Hulangamuwa ( 2 goals).
The third group match was against Berrewaerts College, Ampitiya where Trinity Under 18 football team won with a score of 03 – 00.
Goal scorers at the Under 20 game were Master Yevan Hulangamuwa ( 1 goal), Master Uvan Vithanage ( 1 goal) and Master Mohammed Shan (1 goal).
In their fourth match it was a walk over and Trinity Under 18 football players emerged victorious against Al Hudha International School, Madawala with a score of 03 – 00.
