Why drawing in Kindergarten is very important
Art education in kindergarten starts as a spontaneous activity and becomes more structured as time progresses. Activities such as connecting the dots or cutting along lines utilize art materials, but are not art. Instead, kindergarteners should feel safe playing and experimenting with their own creations; this encourages their personal creativity and imagination. When they are free to create, they develop self-confidence and become more creative, imaginative individuals.
In order for children to understand and appreciate art, it is important that they are exposed to a variety of art styles.

This week the students tried their hand at attempting a basic drawing activity.
First they drew circles of varying sizes & then filled the circles with multiple colours. Finally each circle was outlined with a black crayon.
Aren’t they incredibly attractive?
