Position Overview
We are searching for a dynamic and creative individual to join our administrative department as a School Social Media and Website Coordinator. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing our school’s online presence, which includes the website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube accounts. They will also oversee a team of student writers, provide guidance on event publicity campaigns, publish a monthly email newsletter, and actively engage in new initiatives related to the website and social media channels. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate closely with developers to administer the school website. The candidate’s primary focus will be engaging with our school community, driving online engagement, and continuously improving our digital strategies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record in effectively managing websites, executing successful social media marketing campaigns, and creating compelling content.
- In-depth knowledge of website design principles, search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, and proficiency in utilizing analytics tools to measure performance.
- Proficiency in managing and leveraging social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube) and utilizing social media management tools to drive engagement and reach.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content for various platforms and diverse target audiences.
- Demonstrated creativity in generating captivating and visually appealing content that aligns with brand identity and objectives.
- Strong organizational abilities, adept at multitasking and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in working with student writers or managing teams is a highly valued asset.
- Familiarity in using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and web development concepts is advantageous for effective collaboration with developers and designers.
- Proficiency in using project management tools like Trello to efficiently organize, track tasks, manage projects, and maintain content calendars is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of the education sector and a deep understanding of the school’s mission and values is desirable, allowing for effective alignment of communications strategies.
