Grade 3 educational excursion to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Folk Heritage Museum

Grade 3 students will be visiting the Pinnawala Open Zoo, Elephant orphanage and Iparanigama (Ancient village) on their annual educational excursion.
This will give the children the opportunity to see the animals in their natural habitat and also will be a great opportunity for them to learn and experience the life style of a traditional village that was existed during 17 and 18 centuries.

This will them expose to the economic system, cultivation, and cultural values of their ancestors.

Also, it will be a great occasion for the children to associate their peers outside the classroom,  building team spirit and friendship.
