MR TRINITY – the Bodybuilding Contest
One of the most attended events of the year, the annual Mr. TRINITY bodybuilding contest took the stage on November 3rd, 2023, at the College main hall. Dr. Pandula Basnayake, an Old Boy, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Judges from the Sri Lanka Bodybuilding Judging Association were also in attendance.
After an intense showcase of strength and posing, Master Hamdan Faizal claimed the coveted Mr. Trinity title and the ‘Most Muscular Boy’ title. Master Senuka Manikgamage secured the Junior Mr. Trinity title and the ‘Best Poser’ award, showcasing the presence of youthful talent.

MR TRINITY: The Powerlifting Championship
Associated with MR TRINITY, was the Powerlifting Championship that took place on October 28th at the Asgiriya Gymnasium.
This event demonstrated the fitness and strength of many lifters who participated in various weight classes.

- 81kg: Yasan Kavisidu
- 87kg: Senuth Tauren
- 87kg+: Ravishaka Dissanayake

The success of MR. TRINITY 2023 would not have been possible without the invaluable support of Mr.Kanchana Galagoda the Master in Charge (MIC), Mr. M. Wijerathna the instructor and the Physical Culture club who were instrumental in ensuring the event’s success.
It was a testament to the Physical culture club’s dedication to nurturing the potential of these young powerlifters and bodybuilders encouraging a sense of sportsmanship and maintaining a healthy body that will undoubtedly leave a lasting memory and an impact on the participants.
The bodybuilding contest and the Powerlifting Championship were more than just two sporting events; they were a celebration of the passion and perseverance of the young lifters and bodybuilders who graced the platform.
