Trinity College Admissions for January 2026 – Grade 4, 6 & 7

Trinity College is now accepting applications for boys seeking admission to Grade 4, Grade 6, or Grade 7 in January 2026. Available spots will primarily be in the English medium (Bi-lingual), with limited vacancies in Sinhala medium.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Grade 4: Born between 1st January 2017 and 31st January 2018
  • Grade 6: Born between 1st January 2015 and 31st January 2016
  • Grade 7: Born between 1st January 2014 and 31st January 2015

Boarding Option: The Trinity College boarding facility is strongly recommended for exceptional applicants from other districts. Boarding is available for students in Grade 4 and above.

Application Process:

Important Dates:

  • Online application opens: Wednesday, 25th June 2025 after 9.00 AM
  • Application deadline: Tuesday, 08th July 2025 before 3.00 PM

Please note that late applications will not be accepted.

Selection Process:

  • Shortlisted applicants will be required to sit for the Trinity College Entrance Examination.
  • Details regarding the examination will be communicated via email to all shortlisted candidates.
  • Shortlisting will be based on the number of available places. Those not selected will be notified.
  • Selected applicants will be invited for interviews following the examination. The decisions made will be final, and appeals will not be entertained.

Adherence to Admission Standards: Trinity College maintains the highest standards in its admission processes. Applicants are strongly advised against soliciting any assistance to gain admission. Under no circumstances should money or any other form of consideration be given to anyone claiming to mediate the admission process.
