The Interact Club of Trinity College Kandy organised “Master budgeting” – An oration done to assist the Upper School students of college to overcome the economic crisis while bearing their responsibilities as citizens of this country.
Prof. Wasantha Athukorala, A Professor of Economics at the University of Peradeniya, was the keynote speaker of the event which was held on the 17th of October at the College Main hall.
The hour long oration had several key points such as :-
- An in depth look into the prevailing economic situation of the country.
- The role we as students play to ensure the recovery of the Country’s economy.
- How to assist our parents and family in this time of crisis.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Prof. Wasantha Athukorala for taking the time off his busy schedule to educate the students on this timely topic.
