The All-Island School Games Weightlifting Championship was held from 12 to 14 September at Polonnaruwa Royal College, organised by the Ministry of Education.
Trinity College, Kandy, delivered a commendable performance to finish as Junior 2nd Runners-up, only a few points behind the champions. The close margin highlighted the strength of the competition and the determination shown by the Trinity lifters throughout the three-day event.

The achievement reflects the continued commitment of Trinity’s young athletes at the national level, with the juniors showing promise for further success in the years ahead.
