Reopening of School – November 2020: Notice to All Parents of Grades 6-13

Following the MOE decision to reopen schools for the 3rd term and the critical need to continue the teaching-learning process, our Academic Program will recommence as follows:

Grade 11 to 13

School Time: 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Monday, the 23rd of November 2020 onwards all Grades 11 – 13 students will attend school daily.

Grade 10

School Time: 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Monday, the 23rd of November 2020 onwards

10A, 10B, 10C, 10D classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays

10E, 10F, 10G, 10H, 10 I classes on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays

Grade 6 to 9 (Tentative Schedule)

School Time: 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Monday, the 30th of November 2020 onwards:

  • Grades 6 and 7 will come to school on Mondays & Wednesdays
  • Grades 8 and 9 will come to school on Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • Fridays will be an online class day ( Schedule will be published on College website)

Entry and Exit Points for Students

Main Gate – Entry & Exit for Middle School and Advanced Level

Chapel Gate – Entry & Exit for Grades 10 and 11

Health and Safety Measures

Temperature checks.

Hand washing facilities.

Daily Sanitization of classrooms.

Kindly Strictly Adhere to the Following Guidelines

  1. DO NOT enter the College Premises, if you have fever or any other respiratory condition.
  2. Kindly keep the school informed through email (vpsecretary@trinitycollege.lk) of any health condition of your son which the school need to be aware of.
  3. If a member of your family, close relative or friend is a returnee from a lockdown/ isolated area, please refrain from coming to school. A health clearance is mandatory.
  4. All previous COVID 19 Heath Guidelines will be Applicable to all students / staff.
  5. All mobile devices are strictly prohibited inside the College Premises. Students are required to utilize the telephone facilities provided to communicate with the parents.
  6. Meals delivered by external food suppliers will not be permitted. College Canteen / Catering Service will remain closed till further notice.
  7. Parents are kindly requested to advice the students on the necessity to adhere to social distancing norms inside the classroom as well as in common places. Students are prohibited from sharing food.
  8. Students should remain inside the classroom as much as possible.
  9. Usage of face mask is mandatory.
  10. The opening of the College Boarding will be notified later.

We sincerely look forward to the cooperation of students, parents, alumni and well-wishers in upholding the above guidelines. These are implemented solely to facilitate the smooth functioning of the class room learning experience of our students. The Staff and the School Officers’ Guild will coordinate in the proper implementation of the above measures. All the above is subject to government COVID 19 health recommendations. Any changes will be communicated via SMS.
